I thought it'd be less big... I read some reviews about it before buying it, and they said was big, but didn't mention that the bag fills your back pack up.

Kept me warm during trip, had planned to use it in the house if the power went out.

This is a good quality sleeping bag. Very warm! I bought it for a summer camping trip(so i could use it during winter too) and it was waay too hot! Very soft and comfy, very glad I bought it!

I have one of these, and I bought another one for my son who will be in boy scouts next year. We used them in Minnesota for overnight camping when the temp was about 25 degrees. In the morning our tent was crusted with a thick layer of frost. We were both a little cold - woke up almost shivering a couple times during the night, but mainly because of the chill coming from the ground - I think we just need better sleeping mats. Overall we were pretty warm, but I'm not sure how this bag would really do at zero degrees. For the price though, I wouldn't trade it for one of the more expensive bags.

This sleeping bag did an excellent job keeping me warm on our most recent camping trip. Temperature probably didn't get below 40° so not a test of extreme temperatures, but it performed admirably. There are two drawstrings within one at the shoulder and another around the top, they helped in keeping the heat inside the tent and not escaping through the opening. The zipper works well, opens quickly, though closing it the last few inches proved a little difficult when completely inside the bag. The bag itself is not the most compact out there, for the price it is a good size, could be used for a day trip and short backpacking trips. Would recommend to those looking to stay warm and cozy while camping under the stars, or inside a tent.

Wenzel, the original family camping company, has long felt that next to a quality tent, a good sleeping bag is the most important necessity when it comes to enjoying the camping experience. It's tough to appreciate the outdoors if you can't get a good night's sleep, which is why Wenzel offers a sleeping bag for every temperature range...
